This 12-fret D-18S is one of the most versatile guitars I have ever owned.  With sinker mahogany back and sides and a premium grade Adirondack red spruce top, this comfortable dreadnought can cut through any bluegrass ensemble, or it can be strummed Neil Young style without breaking up, or it can project the most delicate fingerstyle ballad.  

 

The Martin Custom Shop really put together a special configuration on this one.  

 

To build this same guitar, you would pay somewhere between $5,500 to $6,500 and your wait time would be at least one year.

This example is in near mint condition, having less than 10 hours of total playing time.  You'll have the pleasure of breaking in this guitar because it is still essentially new.
